“What I love about making art is that it’s always a surprise. To me and to others.
But then it becomes different when we share what it means to us. That’s when the community gets to know how different yet similar we all are!”

Welcome to my artist’s projects! I will be posting new and old projects here as I get the time. They often emerge from people I meet and interact with and what they inspire or encourage me to create. After all these years the community has made me into an artist and I now understand how, when they like an artwork I have made, it’s because they know the story, and see in it a piece of me they can take home with them. It’s always a surprise, always an honor.

“You didn’t know that?'“ LouLou asked me recently, when I told her what I had just realized.

I shook my head.

“We all knew that,” she smiled.
